A Word From Suffragan Bishop Bobby Cue:
Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
So many times in our lives we find ourselves in places that seem to be too hard for us to manage. Our Struggles overtake us like a train speeding down a track destined to bury us in the ocean of life that is already full of boisterous waves.
Then there is a word from the Lord saying “I know My thoughts towards you…”
Close your eyes for one moment and reflect on this one statement from your Maker, Creator, Savior, Father, and Friend.
vFirst, recognize who is speaking.
vSecond, realize that He KNOWS.
vThird, these are His Thoughts,
vFourth, This Knowledge is withheld from you. His thoughts are so high above your thoughts and His ways so high above your ways. This is He that is able to do over and abundantly above all that you could ever ask or think!
vLast and certainly not least, He has the end in His mind.
Anyone who loves you enough to die for you will also have your best interest in mind as you struggle through the perilous times of life. Thank God that trouble does not last always. Be encouraged knowing that he thinks about you always and his presence is Here Now!
Remember that HE invited Peter to walk on the stormy waves of water. You are also invited to take a risk and step toward Him in faith to accomplish what others have known and presently believe is impossible!
You are special to Jesus. Jesus miracles are manifest for you to receive deeper revelation of HIS SACRED SECRETS ready to be unfolded in the testing of your faith.
Do not stop walking towards Him. You will always find that God has more planned for your life than you are capable of receiving. Usually we are the ones with expectations that are beneath His intended promises. Promises of a future and a living hope!
